Major fault structures of Peninsular Malaysia were analysed by satellite gravity data using 3D Euler Deconvolution inversion techniuques. Major faults separating granite and sedimentary rocks such as Bok Bak, Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Tinggi, Lepar, Mersing and Lebir faults were successfully delineated. The boundary separating the western and eastern belt of Peninsular Malaysia namely the Bentong-Raub Suture is shown by the abrupt changes of gravity anomalies between the two belts. The average depths and dips of all these faults, which could not be determined by field geological mapping, were estimated by the gravity inversion technique. Confirmation of these faults location were carried out by comparison with the existing geological structure.
