This paper presents a review on emergency medical services delivery in Malaysia. The background and the development of emergency medical services in Malaysia are highlighted. Emergency medical services delivery in Malaysia is currently categorized as in developing phase. The efficiency of the delivery in Malaysia is lagged behind other developed countries. Moreover, we also explain the current problems of emergency medical services in Malaysia. The related works to optimize the delivery of emergency medical services in Malaysia are also discussed.Â
