The Editors of the ASEAN Engineering Journal hereby retract the above article.

Following publication, it has been brought to the attention of the editorial office that the content of this article had been previously published as a book chapter in the proceedings of the 2nd EAI International Conference on Renewable Energy and Sustainable Manufacturing (ICRESM 2024), published by Springer in the EAI/Springer Innovations in Communication and Computing series (DOI: https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-031-90629-9_49).

The journal’s assessment has confirmed that there is substantial overlap between the two publications. As the Springer book chapter was published prior to the submission and publication of the article in the ASEAN Engineering Journal, this constitutes redundant (duplicate) publication.

Redundant publication is a violation of the journal’s publication ethics and submission requirements, which require that submitted manuscripts are original and not previously published elsewhere.

The Editors also note that the ASEAN Engineering Journal is not affiliated with the aforementioned conference.

In accordance with standard publication ethics practices, the Editors have determined that retraction of the article is necessary to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

The authors have been informed of this decision.
