UTM eJOURNAL (SCOPUS INDEXED): Update on Article Processing Charges (APC)

Dear Authors and Researchers

We hope this message finds you well.

2. We would like to inform you about an upcoming adjustment to our Article Processing Charge (APC). Effective January 1st, 2027; the APC for accepted manuscripts will increase to MYR 1,000.00. This change applies to all new manuscripts submitted on or after January 1, 2027. Submissions made before this date will be processed under the previous APC structure.

3. The decision to adjust our fees is made after careful consideration of our commitment to sustainable open-access publishing. The new APC structure allows us to:
a. Continue providing high-quality, professional peer-review services.
b. Implement enhanced technical platforms and publishing technologies.
c. Broaden the visibility and reach of published research through indexing and archiving efforts.
