Abstract

Green technology approach by using organic fertilizer is an alternative to the intensive rice farming in reducing the use of chemical inputs that has changed the soil fertility and organisms surround it. Six treatments using enriched organic fertilizer were evaluated their performance towards fragrant rice yield and soil fertility. Research has found that DOBE and compost fertilizer could increased the soil conductivity, number of plant per meter square and number of panicle per meter square and indirectly would increase the yield of MRQ 74.
