There is a need to record buildings and structure which are part of the cultural heritage of a nation. The traditional methods are time-consuming and less accurate. They are also unsuitable at inaccessible parts. Photogrammetric techniques have proved to be otherwise. This paper, firstly, deals briefly with the principles of photogrammetric measurement. Secondly, it discusses the necessary field and laboratory procedures that were required to record part of the Malayan Railway Headquarters building by photogrammetric stereoplotting.Downloads
