Abstract

This article deals with several issues of technology transfer to Malaysia. Around 1100 multinational corporation and joint venture companies have been contacted to investigate the present state of Technology Transfer to Malaysia and to find the ways of improving this for the benefits of the country. The key issues of the investigation are:The means ~f Technology Transfer, the nature of R & D activities, employment practices, and the level of technology brought by the counterparts.
