Abstract

This research aims to identify the level of second languags acquisition (B2) of rural primary school students in the state of Perlis. Then, applying the Theory of Behaviorisme B.F. Skinner who applied positive and negative reinforcement in language learning. Next, the research items used are five posters related to food and kitchen equipment. The findings of the study show that rural students quite weak mastery B2 vocabulary in the language acquisition test conducted. Nevertheless, the use of posters has helped them acquire B2 to be better. Therefore, B2, learning for rural student requires the use of interesting teaching aids such as picture posters.
