HISTORY OF LSP INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL
Formerly known as ESP Malaysia, the journal has come to a new phase in meeting the demands of today’s ever changing values and practices in language for specific purposes. With this rebranding, it gives a wider scope of areas for language researchers and practitioners to share their research findings and experiences with the rest of discourse community. Although it has been rebranded, past issues of ESP Malaysia can still be retrieved from the archive section.
LSP International Journal is a blind, peer reviewed journal. It is published biannually (June and December) by Language Academy, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. From time to time, the journal will also publish special issues arranged according to themes. The journal welcomes writers and researchers to publish their original articles on all aspects of language for specific purposes. The main objective of this journal is to become a platform for the sharing of articles related to research reports and discussions on current trends, issues and problems related to language at all levels and types of education, profession and society from all over the world. The journal welcomes articles written in English and Malay.
