Abstract

A computer programme was developed using Fortran?? utilizing ffiM-PC compatible microcomputers to design the incoming conduit and screening facility in municipal-wastewater treatment plant. The prograIIl!Ile calculates the dimensions and capacity of the facilities and determines the hydraulic flow profile of each of the facility. The programme runs successfully given the input data which is the total number of population served, the incoming conduit diameter and Manning's n. The results are easy to interpret and appeared automatically on an output file.
